About

I'm a product designer in San Diego. When I'm not designing I'm outside: on a trail, in a museum, or working out where the light will be in an hour.

I started shooting film because a friend showed me one of her photographs and something in it pulled at me. I needed to know what it was. The chemical reaction between film and light creates a natural grain, and that is what made the photograph feel authentic to me.

Fourteen countries so far. What I want out of a frame is the feeling of being somewhere else.
