Terms
Last updated 26 September 2026
Read anything here, link to anything here. The photographs and writing are mine, so reusing them needs permission, except the press images, which are cleared in advance.
The work is mine
Every photograph, video and piece of writing on this site is my own work and remains my copyright. Downloading, copying, reposting, cropping, editing or using any of it commercially, or to train a machine learning model, needs written permission first.
Linking to any page is always fine and always welcome, and no permission is needed for that.
Press images are different
The images on the press page are cleared for editorial use without asking, on two conditions: credit reads Photograph by Jake Kenning, and the film rebate is not cropped out of the scans that have one.
That clearance covers editorial use: articles, reviews, listings. It does not cover advertising, merchandise, or any use that implies I endorse a product. For those, get in touch.
What you send
Anything you send through a form should be yours to send and shouldn't be unlawful. Sending something does not create a contract, a partnership, or an obligation on me to reply, and an enquiry is not confidential unless we agree that separately.
Accuracy
The figures on the press page are taken from TikTok’s own analytics and are accurate on the date shown beside them. They describe past performance, which is not a promise of future performance, and no campaign result is guaranteed by them.
The rest of the site is offered as it is. I keep it correct and working, but cannot promise it is free of errors or always available.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using this site. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, because that cannot be limited.
Links out
This site links to TikTok, Instagram and others. Those are not mine and I am not responsible for what they do or what they show you. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you are there.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts of San Diego County, California.
Changes
These terms can change; the date at the top says when they last did. Questions go to info@kenningstudio.com.
